Social and economic development (SED) is emerging as a primary vehicle through which Bahá’ís translate their Faith’s spiritual and humanitarian principles into practical action. In this dynamic new compilation, we gain insight into why Bahá’u’lláh encourages a “special regard” for agriculture as an enterprise that “unquestionably precedeth” all others. Indeed, we find that world peace itself cannot be fully secured until the pivotal role of agriculture is recognized and implemented.
